Crew 11
The NASA–SpaceX Crew-11 mission launched on August 1, 2025, aboard a Falcon 9 carrying the Crew Dragon Endeavour after a brief weather delay, reaching the ISS in a record-fast 15 hours. The four-member international crew includes NASA’s Zena Cardman (Commander, first flight) and Mike Fincke (Pilot, veteran astronaut), JAXA’s Kimiya Yui (Mission Specialist, second flight), and Roscosmos’s Oleg Platonov (Mission Specialist, first flight). Their six- to eight-month mission focuses on station maintenance, scientific experiments, and simulations supporting NASA’s Artemis lunar program, while also marking the 25th anniversary of continuous human presence on the ISS. Notably, the mission demonstrates continued global collaboration despite geopolitical tensions with NASA and Roscosmos leaders meeting for the first time since 2018, and highlights SpaceX’s reusability with Endeavour flying its sixth mission.
