CREW 10

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission launched on March 14, 2025, from Kennedy Space Center, carrying astronauts Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers, Takuya Onishi, and Kirill Peskov to the International Space Station as part of Expedition 72/73. While officially a routine crew rotation, the mission also enabled the return of NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who were stranded due to issues with Boeing’s Starliner capsule. Over its approximately 113-day duration, Crew-10 conducted critical research on human health in space, including studies on bone density, cardiovascular function, and immune response, contributing to preparations for future deep-space missions. The mission also tested flammability of materials and lunar navigation systems, reinforcing its dual role in science and operational continuity aboard the ISS.
