SPX 2024 MISSIONS
In 2024, SpaceX achieved a record-breaking year in orbital launch activity, completing 138 missions—including 132 Falcon 9, 2 Falcon Heavy, and 4 Starship launches. This marked the highest annual launch cadence in SpaceX history, averaging one launch every ~2.6 days.
The majority of missions supported the growing Starlink satellite constellation, with over 60 dedicated launches expanding global internet coverage through new Group 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 satellite batches.
SpaceX also advanced its next-generation launch system with four Starship Integrated Flight Tests (IFT-3 through IFT-6), demonstrating significant progress in full-stack flight, stage separation, reentry, and splashdown recovery goals.
